Short Christmas Poems For Kids

  1. I'd like a stocking made for a giant,
And a meeting house full of toys,
Then I'd go out in a happy hunt
    For the poor little girls and boys;
Up the street and down the street,
And across and over the town,
I'd search and find them everyone,
    Before the sun went down.
  2. Christmas is coming,
    the geese are getting fat,
    Please to put a penny in an old man’s hat;
If you haven’t got a penny a ha’penny will do,
If you haven’t got a ha’penny, God bless you
  3. I’m a little snowman round and fat,
    Here are my mittens,
    Here is my hat.
Add a little scarf and a carrot nose,
I stand so tall when the cold wind blows.
  4. Christmas is forever, not for just one day,
for loving, sharing, giving, are not to put away
like bells and lights and tinsel, in some box upon a shelf. The good you do for others is good you do yourself.
  5. I’ve been waiting for Christmas,
    And it’s almost here.
    I’ve been waiting for Christmas,
    Santa’s getting near.

Can’t you hear the sleigh bells ringing?
    Reindeer up so high.
Can’t you hear the children singing,
    As they watch the sky
  6. Dear Santa, I’m fine and how have you been?
I feel it’s about time to write you again.

Our town has become a bright Christmas scene,
With everything sparkling of crisp red and green
  7. Christmas is a time of joy,
A time for love and cheer,
    A time for making memories,
    To last throughout the year
  8. I’m a little snowman round and fat,
    Here are my mittens,
    Here is my hat.
Add a little scarf and a carrot nose,
I stand so tall when the cold wind blows.
  9. A song was heard at Christmas
    To wake the midnight sky:
A saviour's birth, and peace on earth,
And praise to God on high.
    The angels sang at Christmas
    With all the hosts above,
And still we sing the newborn King
    His glory and his love.
  10. The funniest face
    looked out at me
    From a silver ball
    On the Christmas Tree.

    At first I thought.
    It was Santa’s elf.
    But I looked again and
    It was just myself
These are short Christmas poems that everyone is looking for now a days. You can use them on your cards or send on whatsapp. Facebook love messages and love status are also hot to find things.

Top 10 Poems For Christmas Day

  1. I heard the bells on Christmas Day
    Their old, familiar carols play,
    And wild and sweet
    The words repeat
Of peace on earth, good-will to men!

And thought how, as the day had come,
    The belfries of all Christendom
    Had rolled along
    The unbroken song
Of peace on earth, good-will to men!

Then pealed the bells more loud and deep:
    "God is not dead, nor doth He sleep;
    The Wrong shall fail,
    The Right prevail,
With peace on earth, good-will to men."
  2.  I made myself a snowball,
    As perfect as could be,
I thought I’d keep it as a pet,
And let it sleep with me.

    I made it some pajamas,
And a pillow for its head,
Then last night it ran away,
But first - it wet the bed!
  3. As you relish the goodies, decorate every nook and corner of your home
    and enjoy the get-togethers...
May the joy and festivities continue to radiate in your lives,
    long after Christmas is gone.
    Merry Christmas!Happy New Year!
  4. Christmas is forever, not for just one day,
for loving, sharing, giving, are not to put away

  5. I’m a little snowman short and fat,
Here is my scarf and here is my hat.
    When I see the snowfall,
    Hear me shout
“All you children please come out!”

    touch every heart
    with love and care
    since I met you
    it feels like celebrating
    Christmas all year long

And across and over the town,
I'd search and find them everyone,
    Before the sun went down.
  8.  For your Christmas presents,
I thank you one and all.
For the big ones many thanks,
    And fewer for the small.

    and the days we’ve shared
    are full of love,
but you probably know that ~
    because you put the love
    into every one.

  • The tempting gifts are tantalizing;
About opening them, we are fantasizing.
    The holiday foods are appetizing;
    Our excitement and joy are growing and rising;
    Our hearts and minds are harmonizing;
    Jolly Christmas fun we're maximizing!

  • A man is at his finest towards the finish of the year;
    He is almost what he should be when the Christmas season's here;
Then he's thinking more of others than he's thought the months before,
And the laughter of his children is a joy worth toiling for.

  • Mama told me a story a long long time ago not like any that I'd ever heard,
all about a little girl mama used to know, how I remember every word.
Seems like a lifetime ago, though I remember it so well,
it was a Christmas eve I'll never forget as far as I can tell.

  • The Christ-child lay on Mary's lap,
His hair was like a light.
(O weary, weary were the world,
    But here is all aright.)

  • Behold a silly tender Babe, in freezing winter night;
In homely manger trembling lies, alas a piteous sight:
The inns are full, no man will yield this little Pilgrim bed,
But forced He is with silly beasts, in crib to shroud His head.
Despise Him not for lying there, first what He is enquire

  • Twas the night before Christmas, when all thro’ the house,
    Not a creature was stirring, not even a mouse;
The stockings were hung by the chimney with care,
In hopes that St. Nicholas soon would be there

  • Christmas is more than a day in December
It's all of those things that we love to remember
    Its carolers singing familiar refrains
Bright colored stockings and shiny toy trains
Streamers of tinsel and glass satin balls
Laughter that rings through the house and its halls
Christmas is more than a day in December
Its the magic and the love
    That we'll always remember
  • Merry Christmas to the one I love,
Even on this day of love for all,
Remembering the love of one whose call
Redeemed all those whose hearts his love might move.
Yet only one love does my spirit prove,
Chosen in a passion like a squall,
    Having in such ecstasy withal
Rejoiced in what we were created of.
In such love do we find our way outdoors,
So to be drawn to love of flesh and soul,
    Traveling beyond our village green,
Moving towards the wash along our shores
As our love joins the greater love unseen,
Shining with dark passion on the whole.
  • I love you with my every breath,
I make you songs like thunder birds,
Give you my life—you give me death
And stab me with your dreadful words.

You laid my head against your heart
Last night, my lips upon your breast
And now you say that we must part
For fear your heart should be oppressed.
  • Christmas time is here again
    I wish you only knew,
How special Christmas is this year
    Because I am with you.

This year I don't need any gifts
    Beneath the Christmas tree
The only thing I'll ever want
Is you to be with me

I put you on my Christmas list
And mailed it like a kid
But if Santa didn't bring you here
    An angel surely did

You're my favorite gift of all
You've filled my heart with cheer
I hope that I can be with you
    On Christmas every year
  • There’s lots of room for him in our two-car garage
I’d feed him there and wash him there and give him his massage
I can see me now on Christmas morning, creeping down the stairs
Oh what joy and what surprise when I open up my eyes
To see a hippo hero standing there.
  • I heard the bells on Christmas Day
    Their old, familiar carols play,
    And wild and sweet
    The words repeat
Of peace on earth, good-will to men!
  • XMAS BRINGS LOVE ALIVE
    the light in your soul
    brings harmony in my heart
    our love comes alive
    flourishing moments of joy
    my tender christmas wishes
  • Because in everything I do
    You always have a part,
Because a loving thought of you
    Is always in my heart,
Because each little wish of mine
You've tried to make come true --
At Christmas time, I want to say
    How dearly I love you.
  • Hey Baby, you jingle my bell
the way you run your fingers
    across my skin
    makes me want you
    again and again

Yes, Honey, you jingle my bell
    with your million dollar smile
    vibrant and bright
    you make the holidays
    merry and right.
