jesus christmas poems

  • If we practiced Jesus every way,
    It'd be like Christmas every day;
    If we, like Him, were meek and mild
    And loved each woman, man and child,
    If we'd read our Bible, it'd remind us,
    So that every single day would find us
    More and more in sweet accord
    With our sweet Jesus--Master, Lord.

    Then every day that we're alive
    Would be like December 25.
  • I would like to show you this wreath.
    Isn’t it shaped so perfectly round?
    You see, there’s no end of it’s circle,
    And the beginning cannot be found.

    That is how it is with God’s love -
    We don’t know when it first began,
    But He promised it would last forever,
    And one day with Him we will stand.
  •  Excitement and joy are filling the air;
    The lights add special decor.
    We're shopping for Christmas gifts everywhere,
    But are gifts what Christmas is for?

    The wreaths and the trees and the parties
    Aren't what we need to convey;
    It's the birth of our Savior, Jesus,
    The real reason for this holiday.
  • One is for the manger where Baby Jesus lay.

    Two is for Mary and Joseph on that Christmas Day.

    Three is for the wise men who brought three gifts of love.

    Four is for the shepherds and angel songs above.

    Five is for the animals who stood guard in the shed

    Over Baby Jesus in His manger bed.
  • I Remember in December
    That the reason for the season
    Is that Christ is in Christmas
    And he is there for all of us
    And I remember the son God gave
    To the world he would save
    When love was born
    On that first Christmas morn.
